The RepLink System is a carefully constructed web-based communication network linking brand name incentive suppliers to their local independent reps and to the incentive customers buying the merchandise. Each is connected directly to RepLink and becomes an active partner in the network. This unique relationship provides important benefits that help facilitate product management, timely sales support and excellent customer service.

A single database of information: Suppliers put product and policy information into the RepLink database using a specialized online data entry system or data files from their company's internal database. Easily navigated screens simplify the process of keeping products up-to-date and adding new items quickly. More than 400 fields of information are located in a single, secure, online database. Everything from sales and warranty policies to freight and details like carton dimensions, shipping weights, dropship handling charges are included along with lo-res and hi-res images and are easily available to authorized supplier personnel.

 

Instant communications keep everyone up-to-date: Keeping reps supplied with factory-fresh product information, pricing, and pictures is critical to the sales process. In the RepLink System, everyone is linked to a powerful network of secure RepLink servers. Product or pricing changes made at the factory level are instantly communicated. So are changes if a product is discontinued or placed on backorder. In fact, when the status of a product changes, suppliers can add special notes and the recommended replacement item so reps and customers can make choices without calling the factory.

Reps and customers use product information to create proposals and power web sites: Rather than pour through catalogs and price lists, RepLink users go to their online Presenter program to find the items they want. Products can be selected based on keywords (24” HDTV or Golf Clubs), price, brand name, margin, even how recently the item was added to the database. With a single mouse click, all products fitting the search criteria appear on screen and can be easily reviewed and selected.

Once products are selected, they can be printed as a Word documents, PDF file or Excel spreadsheet. Proposals can also be sent as an email link. Clicking the link allows a buyer to see the proposal online where they can select the items they want, markup the prices, add their own logo to the proposal, and even change the proposal format.

Because all product and picture information is digital, selected products can be easily exported to special web sites without time-consuming data entry or searching for images.
